Personal data processing policy
Prepared under Colombian Statutory Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013. It covers personal data collected through kontrolschool.com. English summary for convenience; the Spanish version prevails.
1. Data controller
SUPERANDO Y EDUCANDO S.A.S., owner of the KONTROL SCHOOL brand, based in Girardot, Cundinamarca, Colombia (Cra. 7A No. 30-119, Barrio La Magdalena). Email: Email. Phone: 310 341 2426.
2. Data we collect on this site
The contact form collects name, email, phone, subject and message; the support form also asks for country, city, mode and, optionally, the student's grade and age. The server processes the sender's IP address only to prevent spam and abuse, stored hashed and for a limited time.
Accessibility menu preferences are stored only in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
3. Purposes of processing
Data is used to answer information and sales requests, provide technical support, follow up on service quality, protect the site from fraud or automated abuse, and meet legal obligations. It is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.
4. Data of children and adolescents
This site is not aimed at minors. When an adult voluntarily provides a student's grade or age in a support request, it is used only to handle that request, respecting the child's best interests (art. 7, Law 1581 of 2012).
5. Processors and data transfers
We use Google Workspace (form email) and Google reCAPTCHA (bot protection) as data processors. They may store data outside Colombia under their own policies; submitting a form authorizes this transfer.
6. Your rights
Under art. 8 of Law 1581 of 2012 you may access, update and correct your data, request proof of authorization, be informed of its use, complain to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, revoke authorization or request deletion, and access your data free of charge.
7. Inquiries and complaints
Inquiries and complaints are received at Email with the subject “Personal data protection”, stating your name, ID number, request and a contact method.
Inquiries: are answered within ten (10) business days, extendable by up to five (5) more with notice.
Complaints (correction, update, deletion or breach) are handled within fifteen (15) business days, extendable by eight (8). Incomplete complaints must be completed within five (5) days; after two (2) months without reply they are considered withdrawn.
8. Security
The site uses HTTPS, keeps service credentials outside public folders and protects forms against automated submissions. Any incident affecting personal data will be reported to the authorities as required by law.
9. Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Google reCAPTCHA, on pages with forms, may set technical cookies needed for security, under Google's privacy policy.
10. Retention and validity
Data is kept as long as needed for the purposes described and then for the periods required by law. Substantial changes to this policy will be published on this page.
